On 1 Nov 03 at 03:56:48 PT, users reported they were not receiving bid, end of auction or PayPal payment notices. At 11:05:39 PT, sellers reported that Turbo Lister was not connecting, so they could not update it. At 12:14:50 PT, more sellers reported problems with Turbo Lister not updating or allowing the seller to upload items. At 17:58:26 PT, users reported that the ending today option was causing errors in search, resulting in items listed out of order, some repeated, and many skipped entirely. At 18:59:06 PT, sellers continued to report Turbo Lister problems. At 20:48:54 PT, sellers reported problems with the ebaY program, sellers assistant basic, upgrade. The program returned error #53 messages and would not allow the seller to list auctions. At 22:39:49 PT, users reported the going going gone section of search was not updating.

On 2 Nov 03 at 04:26:58 PT, users of the ebaY spyware/scumware toolbar reported it was not working. At 06:00:39 PT, users reported that My ebaY was not working and items purchased were not showing. At 06:03:30 PT, users reported that they could not access pages across ebaY. At 06:07:53 PT, buyers reported that all their items were missing from My ebaY, including items they had won. At 06:09:25 PT, sellers reported that all their items were missing from their seller lists. At 06:11:41 PT, more sellers reported their items missing from their My ebaY pages and sellers lists. At 06:11:57 PT, ebaY posted that the ability to search by bidder or seller was down. Also, users were getting errors while using the SYI2.0 listing form. ebaY claimed both problems were fixed at 06:39:38 PT. At 06:58:31 PT, sellers continued to report their My ebaY selling tab showed no current auctions / stores / sold / unsold, despite having many items listed. At 07:00:59 PT, ebaY again reported that they had fixed the problems they had supposedly fixed earlier. At 08:21:02 PT, sellers continued to report their seller's lists were showing no items listed, and that ebaY had not fixed the problem. At 08:23:52 PT, sellers continued to report their lists of items missing. At 08:34:47 PT, buyers reported their bidders lists were still also missing. At 10:04:07 PT, the problem with missing sellers and buyer's lists continued. Doing a seller search showed the seller having no items for sale. At 10:19:14 PT, the seller's lists briefly returned and went down again at 10:28:43 PT. At 10:46:17 PT, users trying to download the ebaY scumware toolbar received an error message saying, "toolbar: Line 71 Char: 4 Error: Object Expected Code: 0 URL: http://cgi3.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ToolbarInstall&event=6" At 11:48:29 PT, sellers reported that Turbo Lister would not upload items. At 13:15:37 PT, sellers reported they could not get the ebaY seller assistant upgrade to load. At 14:03:53 PT, users reported they could not get images provided by ebaY picture services to load.

On 3 Nov 03 at 04:13:35 PT, sellers reported that once again their seller's lists were showing none of their items. This was true on seller search on cgi6 and on My ebaY pages. At 04:28:07 PT, the seller's lists showed up, but the items on My ebaY only appeared intermittently. At 04:32:40 PT, buyers reported they were not receiving their personal search emails. At 06:23:54 PT, sellers reported cgi5 down, preventing them from listing. At 06:25:07 PT, sellers reported that Turbo Lister was not allowing them to choose a category as they could only view categories up to entertainment. At 07:19:25 PT, users reported they could not access My ebaY. At 07:33:09 PT, users trying to access My ebaY were receiving messages saying, "We're sorry. You may have entered an incorrect User ID or password. If you tried to access this page using a bookmark, you may need to re-enter your User ID and password at the main My eBay page and re-bookmark" My ebaY would not allow users to delete items. At 09:48:57 PT, users trying to access ebaY through their wireless service received, "102:Requested wireless site is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later." messages. At 15:38:25 PT, sellers reported that revising an item caused all their item images to disappear. At 19:37:25 PT, sellers using Turbo Lister received error messages preventing them from uploading items. At 21:24:16 PT, users reported they could not upload images to ebaY picture services. At 21:28:09 PT, sellers reported that their AOL service was no longer working with ebaY, and the ebaY picture service would not work if the user came in through AOL.

On 4 Nov 03 at 09:30:42 PT, sellers reported cgi5 was down preventing relisting items. At 14:02:58 PT, sellers reported Turbo Lister was not working since the last update, and that they could not create new listings or upload already created ones. At 14:12:53 PT, sellers reported having problems posting pictures on their listings. Buyers reported they could not use the browse option, and also were receiving internet explorer script error messages. At 14:17:10 PT, users reported that PayPal was returning error message 3004, preventing access. At 15:05:21 PT, buyers reported that search was not working properly, receiving messages saying, "Virtual Host or Web Application Not Found The web group core_virtualhost/ has not been defined". At 15:25:27 PT, sellers reported they could not upload images to their auction through ebaY's picture service, though AOL, Internet Explorer, or other web browsers. At 15:57:38 PT, sellers reported that Turbo Lister was taking up 98 MB of memory on their computer. At 17:57:18 PT, buyers reported they were having problems browsing for and locating specific items. At 22:24:33 PT, buyers reported that gallery images were only showing on half the items they looked at.
