Mar - eBay suffered intermittent availability problems and reported them solved at 05:17 PT on 1 Mar, but intermittent problems were talked about on the OAI chat boards till around 08:00 PT.

Mar - eBay is conducting regularly scheduled maintenance on Fri 3 Mar from 01:00 PT and 05:00 PT . They are also making changes to the feedback system through the day, that may result in slowness when accessing and using the feedback forum. The slowness is expected to be resolved after the work is completed. http://www2.ebay.com/aw/announce.shtml

Mar - There are some glitches in the newly implemented feedback system. There is a new interface that allows multiple comments to be submitted at once. You can find a list of all transactions for which you have not left feedback in the past 60 days by going to: http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?LeaveFeedbackShow Included on this list are auctions where the reserve was not met, or where suspended users are included, even though they don't qualify for transactional feedback. eBay is working on fixing this, and expect to have it fixed in approximately one week. The old form for leaving feedback is available by using the link "Click here to leave feedback for an item older than 60 days" on the bottom of the new feedback page. eBay is currently experiencing issues with the feedback forum that are resulting in slowness when accessing the feedback forum, including viewing feedback and leaving comments.

At approximately 19:00 PT eBay experienced problems with listing new items, using My eBay, viewing Feedback and leaving Feedback comments. These problems were resolved at approx 20:00 PT.

The feedback forum again experienced glitches and slowness. This started at approximately 16:00 PT 7 Mar, and has yet to be resolved. There have also been reports of general slowness of eBay all day

Mar - eBay resolved the feedback forum glitches and slowness. They claim it was resolved at approx 20:07 PT. At 21:04 PT, Mister Lister went down and was back up at 05:21 PT 8 Mar.

Mar - eBay had problems with My eBay, Seller Search and Bidder Search returning inconsistent item results. This started at 15:16 PT 11 Mar, and was reported resolved at 18:24 PT. If you had auctions ending during this time, or feel your auctions were materially effected by this inability to search, email bill-@e... for a refund.

Mar - eBay continues to have trouble with their MisterLister upload utility. There may be difficulties uploading and submitting collections through Mister Lister during prime listing hours, usually between 16:00 PT and 21:00 PT. They recommend you do your uploads earlier in the day. Your items will reside in the Review Collections area for up to 2 weeks where you can approve them at any time. Engineering is trying to come up with ways to fix this reoccurring problem.

Mar - eBay on 23 Mar had difficulties with the feedback forum, including viewing feedback profiles and leaving feedback comments. They were also experiencing unavailability of some parts of the system, including registration and listing an item for sale. eBay reported the start of problems at 19:12 PT. At 21:03PT they reported title search, category listing pages, and most importantly, bidding, were no longer affected. At 21:14 they reported all areas fixed. There were comments on the chat boards that normal access to the site was completely out, intermittently.

Mar - eBay continues to have difficulties with Mister Lister, the bulk upload utility. This is at its worst during the prime hours of 16:00 and 21:00 PT, and eBay strongly recommends you upload your auctions during off peak hours. The auctions can then be approved at any time during the following two weeks.

Mar - Sellers without a credit card on file were unable to list auctions for approximately one hour on 28 Mar from 1840PT t0 1949PT even if they were grandfathered and therefore not required to have a credit card on file. eBay fixed this system glitch, and will monitor it.
