8 Feb - eBay, at 1520 PT 8 Feb, lost some page functions, including search which was patched by access through http://listings.ebay.com/aw/listings/list. Reports on the auction industry chat boards reported that the outage
was much more catastrophic than what eBay was saying. By 1630 this
turned into a full blown external ³denial of service² attack. Though
eBay claimed that this was not a compromise of data, it did impact site
accessibility. They felt " a good majority" of their users, still had
access. By 1900, most functions were restored, though there were
continuing problems with eBays pic servers, causing pages to not
download. By 2020 PT the pic servers were back online, though more
reports of intermittent outages continue to be discussed on the chat
boards, the latest outage reported at 2145 PT.
If your auction ended between 1600 and 2200 tonight and you feel it was
affected by the outages, TAG strongly recommends you request credit
by writing to bill-@e... with the item number(s) of your affected
auction(s) and the reason for your credit request. An article on the

10 Feb - Registration was not working for approximately 15 minutes today.
eBay will be down for regularly scheduled maintenance. The system will
be unavailable on Fri morning, 11 Feb between 01:00 PT and 05:00 PT.

(though eBay claims 20:29 PT).

The feedback forum started to experience slow response at 16:08 PT.
This was reported resolved at 17:22 PT on 23 Feb with a message
saying that system was working as of 19:00 PT on 22 Feb.
At approx 11:58 PT one of eBays major Internet Service Providers had
problems resulting in slow response times and some inaccessibility
to eBay for many users. This was reported resolved at 17:23 PT. To

28 Feb - eBay had listing problems from 19:13 to 20:01 PT on 27 Feb preventing new listings. This was resolved and will be monitored for
re-occurrences.
