eBay US- Continues to have indexing problems. Though eBay claims that
everything is up to date and current - within normal parameters, user
after user complain about how their auctions are not showing in search.
This has been an ongoing complaint that eBay has yet to address, using
any of the hundreds of suggestions they have received about this issue.

EBay has a notice on the announcement board about the recent rash of
spamming by reverseauction.com, and how eBay has no relationship with
this site. They also give some good advice -never give out your user
id or password or your credit card information ( and we add - your
personal info) to anyone who requests it unless you know exactly who
is getting it, and why. Never fill out unexpected pop up windows that
ask for any such information. Charge your passwor regularly.

No information from eBay on the spider. eBay agreed to send information
when they unblocked the ISP subnet on 9 Nov. As time goes by it becomes
less believable that there was an intruder, and more likely that they
blocked the ISP in order to intimidate The Auction Guild into silence.
Yesterday the ISP Tech received another email from eBay, suggesting that
the real problem was that his cache needed clearing. Incredible.

Auctionrover - the Meta Auction Search Engine site, is offering branded
shipping supplies free to any seller who uses one of their free seller
services. Recommend three other sellers and you get a free T-shirt.
This looks like a good site, our biggest objection to date is their use
of autionwatch.com as a trap link. When questioned about this practice,
they expressed a view that it was AWs fault for not registering 'common
errors'.
