Auction Watch, has started to censor content on its site, despite its
claim to be an unbiased venue for discussion about the online auction
industry. It is reasonable and understandable when they close a thread
for the sale of services by another company, basically stolen
advertising. When they limit what their users can talk about, even if
another service identical to Aws, it is censorship and a restriction
of freedom of speech. AW holds an open forum where they invite all and
sundry to discuss the online auction industry. It is only reasonable
for them to expect users to talk about the online auction industry!!!
As more and more service providers emerge, AW will have to decide just
what the purpose of their message center is.
