eBay has a pilot program called eBay Wish List. This uses the
personal
shopper to send items from your personal shopper list to friends and
family. You can only use the Wish List pilot through your Personal

Another Upcoming Changes bulletin is posted. The return of Maximum
Bid
on MyEbay has been delayed for a few weeks due to unresolved issues.
New listing pages are coming soon. A regularly scheduled maintenance
time warning will show up when listing an item so you can correct
a
time conflict. A feature is in the works, to send a message
in the
case of a change in high bidder due to a cancelled bid, to both the
seller and the new high bidder.
EBay has made changes to search , and now claim that search cycles are
currently running at around 2 hours, their service level target is less
than 4 hrs. There is also an explanation of why it is so difficult for
them to keep search updated, and for the first time in print a statement
that Quote our Search indexing cycles have been taking about 12 hours to
complete Endquote

Yahoo! Auctions Bidder Services has a watch list, to keep track
of all
your auctions bid on, and a seller/category/keyword alert system,
so
you can get an email when something of interest is listed.
There is a feature on each auction listing , where you can ask the
seller a question. The question is posted to the site in addition to
getting an email message answer. All Q&A
s are archived on the
listing so that other questions may be answered. There is also
an
Instant Message type program on each listing, so it is possible
to
live chat with the seller. In addition there is also an automatic
multi option notification system that can be used with an alpha numeric
