Amazon Auctions is having ongoing problems with disappearing auctions,
auctions not showing up for several hours after listing, and
disappearing for several hours after they end. There have also been
reports of incompatibility between MAC with IE and Amazon. If
you too
are having problems of this type, please email or call in your concerns

Andale.Com provides a universal auction management system, with a
variety of tools geared to the seller. Though not the first
into the
market place with tools for sellers, they are attempting to bring a
whole series of features together in one place. The service
is free
through March 2000, but there are plans to start charging for the
service after that.
We had grave concerns about the security of the User Ids and passwords
that are required by the site. After a phone conversation tonight with
Heidi, their customer evangelist, we were assured that the site was very
secure, and see that they have updated the site security statement
in

firewalls and multiple layers of data encryption. If, in the
extreme
case that Andale data is ever compromised, it would be virtually
