The Auction Guild Notes for Monday 13 Sep 1999

Over the weekend, all was quiet on all the auction boards. We monitored
the boards and decided since nothing had changed, we would hold off on
sending TAGnotes out until today.
eBay- Announces another listing NO-NO. Ebay will no longer allow the
listing and sale of alcohol and tobacco products including wine, beer,
hard liquor, cigars, cigarettes and smokeless tobacco products. They
will still allow the listing of alcohol-related and tobacco-related
collectibles including memorabilia, packaging and containers, including
decanters and bottles. A Q&A session will take place on Tuesday,14
September 1999 from 10:00-11:00 PDT on the Discuss eBay Newest Features
board. The Q&A session will allow questions about why eBay feels the
need to do this, as well as to give users an opportunity to suggest how
to make the policies clearer and easier to understand.

Honesty.Com- Is physically moving all of the Honesty servers this
week to a completely new office. The actual machines that operate the
Honesty services move this week. There will be a period of time where
Honesty services will be offline. We will monitor this situation and
let you know, as their counters will not work.
