ebaY UK new seller promotion between Monday 6 Sep 04
0:00:01 and Sunday 12 Sep 23:59:59 BST. This promotion is for
any user who has registered with ebaY as a buyer or seller, but
never sold anything before. The new seller will eventually get
credit for up to a total of 10 listing fees for items listed during
the promotion.

Established sellers could use some of their additional user IDs
to qualify for this promotion, as it would probably be difficult for
ebaY to sort between new and old users if the registration info
name and email address is different. For example, there is
nothing in the rules for the promotion that excludes a registered
member in the same family who never sold before.

ebaY will charge new sellers insertion fees at the current
applicable rate, but will refund the fee no later than 11 Oct 2004.
The seller may have to pay their ebaY bill before they get the
refund, and will then receive a credit on their account. The memo
on qualifying items will read "1st Time Seller Week Credit".

This promotion applies to all users who registered before 3 Sep
2004 23:59:59 BST, and have not listed at all before that time.
Sellers will receive a refund for the basic insertion fee in up to
two categories. ebaY will charge all other fees, including but not
limited to feature fees such as Gallery, Bold, Reserve Price,
Featured, Buy it Now and Final Value fees. Listing in 2
categories is included. All categories are included, including
Motors & Real Estate. Auction with Buy It Now (BIN), and BIN
only are included. When the auction format is used, sellers will
be charged for using the BIN feature.

Excluded are Dutch (multiple items), Shop Items, any listings in
excess of 10, items listed after the promotional period, even if
the seller did not list 10 items, sellers who have previously sold
on ebaY. Listings created by a first time seller during the
promotional period but scheduled to start after the promotional
period.

If any item qualifying for this promotion closes without a sale and
is relisted afterwards, the seller will qualify for a relist credit
if the relisted item sells successfully the second time around.

Don't forget the 5+ hour time difference between the US and UK
when listing.
