VIDEO GAMES 15-16 JUNE

ebaY is holding a 2 day discount on items in certain Books, Movies,
Music and Video Games categories when the seller uses the pre-filled
item information feature. In order to be eligible for the promotion, you
must list your item in at least one of the following specific
categories, and use the pre-filled item information feature: VHS, DVD,
CD, Cassettes, AudioBooks, Non-Fiction Books, Education (Text Books),
Children's Books, Fiction Books and Video Games. If you follow these
restrictions, the listing fee will cost 10 Cents. This is on the U.S.
site (www.ebay.com) and begins Tuesday, 15 June 2004 at 00:00:01 PT
(12:00 AM plus one second) and ends 23:59:59 PT on Wednesday, 16 June
2004 (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds). Listings created before 15 Jun and
scheduled to start during the promotional period, 15-16 Jun, will be
eligible for the promotional rate.
This discount is for Auction-Style and Fixed Price insertion fees for
listings within the Books, Movies, Music, and Video Games categories.
The promotion does not apply to any category levels except those listed
above, and does not apply for Live Auction, International, Professional
Services, ebaY Motors vehicles and non-vehicles, Stores Inventory, and
multi-quantity listings. The promotional offer does not apply for
listings with a start date before 15 June, including those listings
revised during the promotional period, or for listings created during
this period but scheduled to start at a later date.
ebaY will NOT give the seller credit on the items until sometime in
August 2004. This promotion is not available to users who are subject
to VAT.
ebaY will still charge optional listing upgrade fees: Buy It Now,
Featured Plus!, Subtitle, Highlight, Bold, Home Page Featured, Gallery,
Gallery Featured, Gift Services, Scheduled Listings, Listing Designer,
Reserve listing fee, Picture Services, Picture Pack, Slide Show,
Supersize Picture, Extended duration surcharge for auction-style and
fixed price listings.

This promotion is once again clearly aimed at Half.Com sellers in an
attempt to get them to use the ebaY site. For items of this
type, TAG
strongly recommends sellers consider the growing marketplace on
Amazon.Com which many sellers find is a better venue for sellers of
fixed price items such as the ones in these categories. Listing

On Thursday 17 June 04, ebaY will hold a one day special promotion on
ebaY UK in conjunction with PayPal, where all Auction, Auction with Buy
It Now, Buy It Now Only and Dutch Auction (multiple items) listing
formats and items listed in Shops will be free to list, for those
sellers who offer PayPal as a payment option. . This applies to all
listings in Pounds Sterling (GBP) on eBay.co.uk started between 00:00:01
BST and 23:59:59 BST on Thursday 17th June 2004,. Select PayPal as an
accepted payment method, whether listed through the Sell Your Item (SYI)
form or a bulk listing tool such as Turbo Lister or Selling Manager.
The buyer does NOT have to use PayPal to purchase the item for it to be
eligible for the listing credit, but the seller must offer PayPal as a
payment option.
Excluded are Shops inventory format items and items listed in the Motors
and Properties categories. The promotional rate does not apply to
listings with a start date before 17 Jun - including those listings
revised during the promotional period. The promotional rate also does
not apply to listings created on 17 Jun and scheduled to start after the
promotion ends. ebaY will charge all optional listing feature fees
including: Buy It Now, Featured Plus!, Highlight, Bold, Home Page
Featured, Gallery Featured, Gift Services, Reserve listing fee, Listing
Designer, Picture Services, Slide Show, Supersize Picture, and extended
duration surcharges.
Sellers will NOT get an immediate refund. Fees will not be credited to
their accounts until 31 July 2004, and the seller will have to pay their
monthly invoices, even if they are expecting a credit. The credit will
show as - credit type "17 June PayPal Promo Credit".
Don't forget the Time Difference between the US and UK if you list for
this promo.
