eBay US- Completed title search is once again being reduced
from 20 days to 15 days. It has been a long time (over a year)
since a full 30 day completed search was available on eBay.
There is no time frame given for a restoration of this
essential service.

Ebay has a new help search that they hope will be smarter
faster and more user friendly. http://webhelp.ebay.com/

The Non Paying Bidder (NPB) Alert. Since eBay has not
posted this anywhere where it can be viewed, We have posted
it on the TAGnotes site, under FILES as Dead Beat Bidder NPB Alert
http://www.onelist.com/files/TheAuctionGuildnotes/
Sign In, and Click on the Files link on left side of the page.
If you want a copy, email us and we will send it to you.
IN Summary it tells the NPB that the seller has filed an
NPB Alert, and if the buyer has sent payment or intends to
complete the sale, they need to contact the seller. If the
transaction is not completed, the seller will file a Final
Value Fee (FVF) request with eBay, and the buyer will get an NPB
warning. Three warnings and the buyer will be suspended from eBay
for 30 days. A fourth warning and the buyer will be suspended
indefinitely. They also tell the buyer that there is a 10 day
workout period from the time the Alert letter is filed, and the
time the FVF can be filed. They plan on rolling this program
out in 6-8 weeks.

We are still waiting for a response from legal on section 7 of
the user agreement.
