On 15 Jul at 08:58:03 PT users reported edit and manage on ebaY=20
stores were inaccessible. At 09:10:02 PT the discussion boards=20
and community help was reported down.
On 16 Jul 13:48:51 PT ebaY posted that the discussion boards may
be intermittently unavailable. Users reported problems with board=20
access. At 15:01:04 PT ebaY posted about the flashing banner ads=20
again. ebaY claims this is not intentional and they are testing a=20
solution to fix it. They expect to have the problem fixed by late=20
next week. To eliminate these banner ads try these methods -=20
* Go to http://www.adsubtract.com and download their software. =20
* Use a Netscape Browser
* Go to your Internet Explorer options, look under multimedia=20
and turn off the image option. When you search ebaY you won't
see any images including banner ads. If you want to view an image=20
on an auction, right click your mouse and select "show picture". =20
* Hold down the shift key when you hit your back button when
going from the item back to the search list, this should also=20
circumvent the flash ad. =20
