ebaY users reported intermittent access ebaY wide problem on 22 Mar
starting at 04:18:15 PT. These problems were intermittent and
infrequent but occurred throughout the day. ebaY CS posted on the
ebaY chat boards that ebaY had fixed the no credit on sold relists
problem. It still doesn't say "Relist of..." on the account status
page, but is now crediting the relist fee. The proper relist screen
should be coming up when relisting. Unfortunately, ebaY has not yet
figured out if they can make automatic refunds, so sellers will
have to figure out what auctions they did not receive relist sale
credit for and request refunds from ebaY. ebaY has also not decided
if they are going to inform their sellers about this problem, and as
of yet, there has been no post on the announcement board.
Users reported continued problems with the relist credit page
showing up when sellers used the Billpoint option on their auctions.
ebaY will be down for regularly scheduled maintenance system on
Fri morning, 23 March from 01:00 PT to 03:00 PT.

reneging on 24/7 support John@Blackthornesw/ebaY said, "The 24/7 support
mentioned in the announcement said it was 24/7 email support. We do have
people answering emails at s-@ebay.com 24 hours a day, seven days a
week. We just have a lot of email to get through right now." So to go
along with ebaYs definition of 99% uptime, ebaY has now created a new
definition of 24/7 support - email or otherwise.

Amazon Auctions, zShops and Marketplace users continued to have
problems today. On 22 march, the listing function was intermittently
down, the deadbeat bidder verify page disappeared, preventing
requests for fee refunds, keyword search in auctions and zShops
appears to now be limited to the first 500 characters, and large
numbers of auctions continue to disappear.

Yahoo Auction has redone their search engine. Though the change
provides easier access, TAG feels it is also very cluttered and
disorganized, and takes several more clicks to reach the desired
result. The biggest advantage is the speed at which the photo
thumbnails download.
