On 5 Mar at 23:29:59 PT ebaY posted that the site was down
from 22:21 PT through 22:47 PT.
For information and links to request refunds on ebaY go to
http://www.auctionguild.com/generic.html?pid=33

ebaY has made some changes to the Buy It Now (BIN) feature.
They will not all be fully functional for a few days until ebaY makes
all the changes. Sellers are now required to have a minimum feedback
of at least 10 or be ID verified. Buyers still need to have a credit
card number on file or be ID verified to buy using BIN. The BIN price
will remain on a listing with a reserve price until the reserve price
has been met, after which it will disappear. For non-reserve auctions,
the BIN will continue to disappear after the first bid has been placed.
BIN will not be available for items in the mature audience section. ebaY
plans to add BIN to ebaY Motors and ebaY’s international sites in the
next few months.

Pink Quote of the Day When asked about an auction that was ended
early by a seller and sold off ebaY, Katy@ebaY Mar-06-01 at
21:28:45 PT said, "Yes, you can end an auction and sell of[f] of
eBay. In a shop, for example? We only ask that you not utilize eBay
features or contacts from that auction to make the sale without
offering an eBay bidder the protections of the auction format." And at
22:24:52 PT "eBay could help in identifying the individual when
requested by law enforcement or court order. We could not do that
if it is an off-site sale." And those 'ebaY protections' amount to a
sum total of $175 dollars in insurance after a $25. deductible, and
a court order will elicit ebaY's assistance no matter where the sale
originated from.

Title search approx 2 hrs, Title and Description search approx 8 hrs
