ebaY Users reported on 25 Feb that listing and relisting was
intermittently down for most of the afternoon and evening. ebaY
IPIX went down at 18:48:32 PT. At 19:10:53 PT Billpoint went
down. IPIX came back up within the hour at approx 19:23, but
Billpoint was still not working as of this printing.
There is a feedback glitch whereby you can only leave feedback one
at a time. This appears to be related to the email system changes
causing a glitch that does not allow you to pull up the high bidder's
email addresses on the Leave Feedback page. If you try to leave
multiple feedbacks you will get an error message that you cannot
have the email address because you are not involved in a
transaction with that person.

*PINK Quote of the Day* After ebaY personnel stated today at ebaY
University in Dallas that "You heard it here first. If you have an email
address as your UserID, you will soon be required to change it." ebaY
pinks scuttled to do damage control about this bit of misinformation.
Though ebaY has considered doing this, it appears that at least for now
this option will continue to be available to ebaY users.

iPix requires an ActiveX download, the reason TAG does not
recommend it.

Blackthorn license holders are fighting back against the fraud they
feel is being perpetrated on them by Blackthorne and ebaY. ebaY
users bought the Blackthorne software with the promise that they
would not only receive lifetime upgrades at no extra charge, but
that Blackthorne would make it compatible with other auction sites.
ebaY now owns Blackthorne and plans on requiring users to pay
a monthly fee to use the software. The once lifetime upgrade
promise has now been turned into a one year use at no extra fee.
Blackthorne users have posted on ZDNET, warning would be
purchasers that buying the full fee software license at over $200
will only net them one year of use of the software, something
Blackthorne has NOT warned these buyers about. ZDNET links

Users of the Blackthorne Auction Assistant have been dealt two more
bad hands. To start with, ebaYs email changes disabled the software
for over 24 hours. In addition the ebaY replacement program will
require users to utilize ebaYs iPix service and only allow two free
pictures. Users will have to pay additional fees for more that two
