ebaY will be down for regularly scheduled maintenance from
01:00 PT to 03:00 PT on Fri 26 Jan. In an interesting twist, ebaY
forgot to post the announcement until TAG reminded them about
the lack of a notice anywhere on the site. The post was then
added to the home page and AB.
ebaY premier, is working with online retailers in the art world.
GUILD.com, Latinarte.com, and Onview.com are supposed to
participate on ebaY premier to add auctions to the current approx
1700 listings. Butterfields is currently in violation of ebaYs rules
on ebaY premier as it is selling alcohol in violation of the ebaY
premier user agreement.

Invoicing for the 15 Jan billing cycle was delayed this month so
ebaY could process outage credits. ebaY will send invoices
over the next three to five days. ebaY will charge users with a
credit card on file, two to three days after receipt of their invoice.
ebaY is proposing a change in the comics categories. To see the

ebaY has added a new definition to auction interference. It now
includes emailing bidders in an open or ended auction to warn
them away from a seller or item. This regardless if the seller is
a known fraud or shiller, or if the items are patently fraudulent.

TAG feels that fraudulent auctions and sellers should be reported to
safeh-@ebay.com, or if ebaY refuses to deal with these issues,
to the OAUA, if the seller is a member, or to the FTC consumer fraud

In fact, TAG recommends that whenever ebaY users feel that ebaY
has not provided the service paid for, and ebaY refuses to refund fees
you file a complaint with the FTC also.

Title search is currently running approx 4 hours behind, title and
description search is running approx 7 hours behind. To see a pattern

Completed search is now available with a 20 day history, though
there were again intermittent reports all day of completed search not
working.
