ebaY posted at 15:45:22 PT on 17 Jan that on 16 Jan that starting
at about 16:00 PT Tuesday, the feedback forum, some account
functions of My ebaY, and some ebaY online payment features
were down. They stated that all functions were fixed as of
15:45:22 PT, but users reported that the feedback forum was out
until 17:30:28 PT. On 18 Jan at 19:25:57 PT, users reported
server resets when viewing auctions, and revise auction down.
These problems lasted for a few minutes but the site then stabilized.
Billpoint is still having hangover problems with the glitches they had
in July. The problem caused a scrambling of some buyer addresses, so
those sellers who relied on the Billpoint shipping information sent
items to the wrong person. In some cases, this information continues to
remains incorrect, so all Billpoint users should check their information
to insure it is correct.

Amazon sent an email to some sellers stating that all merchants,
Marketplace, Z-Shop and Auciton, are required to register for Amazon.com
Payments. Information on the Amazon web site has not been updated to
reflect this change. To register for Amazon.Com Payments go to

It appears that since Amazon payments are restricted to the US only
a seller must have a US based bank account in order to sell on Amazon.
