A relatively quiet day across the auction industry.

eBay- No update on Go-Local bug. They are working on it.
Still no response to email for clarification on Article 7 or
request for expressed written permission to continue to monitor,
copy, modify, create derivative works, and publicly display
content from their website – in other words to continue to
publish TAGnotes about eBay and remain a registered member in
accordance with their new rules.

Yahoo- No change since TAGnotes Vol 1 Number 13
Yahoo has not made any changes to their announcements since
AUGUST!!! The site is way out of date, and despite repeated emails,
there has been no response from them. Sent another email inquiry.

Online Auction Users Association- OAUA- put out their first
newsletter. Their membership applications currently stands at
775, and they will waive annual membership dues until 31Dec99.
They are working on establishing a code of ethics, and acceptable
practices for members of the online auction industry.
