ebaY continues to have site problems. They reported on 15 Sep
12:41:08 PT that they were experiencing slowness with Mister Lister.
Members may experience a delay between the time their items are
submitted and the time they are available to commit to the site.
On 15 Sep 16:24:20 PT users reported that cgi6 was malfunctioning.
At 22:38:46 PT cgi3 started to throw messages that - The page cannot
be displayed The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The
Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need
to adjust your browser settings. Reports of fake items started showing
up in Sellers Lists. My ebaY showed the correct listings. The fake
items showed an item number that had all zeroes, the bid prices were all
0.00. The reports started at15:45 PT and continued to be reported until
19:00PT. One 16 Sep at 07:23:22 PT search was throwing functionality
not working messages. Problems with Mister Lister continued to be
reported. Other that the one post about Mister Lister, ebaY did not
acknowledge or report on any of the problems.

ebaY has added new categories and moved others. There are new
individual Category homes for Books, Movies, Music, Coins and
Stamps. Music Memorabilia, Musical Instruments, Printed, Recorded
(the renamed Music category) as well as the addition of Instructional
to the existing Piano Rolls, Records, Sheet Music and Tapes
Categories were reorganized. In Coins, Currency: US and
Currency: World to Paper Money: US and Paper Money: World
respectively have been renamed. The first five of fifteen new

ebaY has changed the scheduled maintenance for Billpoint, from
Friday 22:00 PT to 02:00 PT, to Saturday 16 Sep from 22:00 PT
to 02:00 PT Sunday morning. This scheduled maintenance impacts
all functions for Billpoint, including registration, invoicing,
transaction processing and customer inquiries.

Amazon Auctions It appears that Service Co. is no longer directly
placing closeout merchandise on Amazon. They no longer are
appearing on the front page of the auction site.

we haven't been able to make contact, though emails have been

There was also a report on the ebaY emergency contact board
about a users PayPal account having a restriction placed on it for
administrative reasons. According to PayPal a user with a
restricted account, may not send, request or withdraw money.
You may also not add funds electronically or close your account.
We will try to get info from PayPal as to why and how this can
happen, and what procedure to follow.
