eBay reported on 16Aug at 08:33:47 that description search indexing
is running over 24 hours behind. They hope to get it more current
by late evening 16 Aug. Reports on the OAI boards as of this
printing are still showing that description listings continue to be
over 24 hours behind. TAG recommends that you track when your
auctions appear in description search and if you feel your auctions
were negatively impacted by these problems request refunds from

Users continue to report site slowness and intermittent glitches on
the OAI boards. eBay has not acknowledged any problems on the
AB, but has admitted to the ongoing problems in response emails to
users who write to complain.

Yahoo Auctions has added a 90 DAY completed search. Only
items that sold appear in completed search. It includes the take
it price auctions.

On 16Aug, there were reports on the OAI chat boards about some
short intermittent outages. The longest appeared to last approx
18 minutes.
