eBay Germany Listings went down on Sun 16 Jul 02:56:26 PT
eBay Germany users were unable to access listings. They
posted at 02:56PT on 17 July, 2000 that the problem with German
listings indexing updates were fixed. German listings indexes were
current as of 17 Jul 13:35MESZ. Then at 13:46PT on 17 Jul eBay
reported the eBay home page was intermittently unavailable. The
problems were fixed by 15:57 PT. As always with any site problems,
if you feel your auctions were negatively impacted email
bill-@e... for a refund of your fees.

Yahoo has so far defeated TAG in determining a method to count
how many auctions are currently listed on the site. Starting today
we are using a formula that will act as a comparison index based
on tracking a particular search pattern. The assumption we
are using is that tonight Yahoo has 1.95 million auctions listed.
This will allow us to at least track if auctions are increasing,
decreasing or stable. If Yahoo or any one else would like to
correct this assumption with more accurate and verifiable
