eBay had a major outage beginning at 23:37 PT Sun 2 July. The
main database server was unavailable until 02:29 PT Mon 3 July.
All problems were fixed and reported so at 02:46:08 PT on 3 Jul.
All listings that were scheduled to end between 23:37 PT Sun
2 July and 03:00 PT Mon 3 July were extended 24 hours from
their scheduled ending time. These extensions occurred automatically.

eBay is beta testing allowing eBay users to buy banner ads
to run on eBay and link visitors to your About Me page, at a
discount from the standard advertising rates Cost per thousand
banner impressions (CPM)
25,000 ads for $250 ($10 CPM)
50,000 ads for $475 ($9.50 CPM)
100,000 ads for $925 ($9.25 CPM)
200,000 ads for $1,800 ($9.00 CPM)
To participate you need to be a registered user with an About Me
page, or create your own About Me page, Have an ad banner
468 pixels wide by 60 pixels high.
