eBay had another series of outages and slowdowns starting at
22:11 PT 3 May, that were resolved at 00:27 4 May. The problems
started again at 14:36 on 4 May, and eBay will take the system down
for approximately 20 minutes on Thur, 4 May at 22:00 PT for an
unregular outage. If your auctions were or will be negatively
impacted by these problems email bill-@e... for a refund.

The eBay system will be unavailable on Fri 5 May between 01:00 PT
and 05:00 PT for regularly scheduled maintenance.

Yahoos Auctions has had search engine problems for the last three
days. This was reported to us by a TAGnotes subscriber who runs
hundreds of auctions on Yahoo.

Yahoo Auctions is now verifying all user's email addresses.

Old and Sold is holding a contest for an oak Spice Cabinet,
circa 1900. To enter, you have to post an item to their auctions.
They have added auto relist and modify auction features to their site.
They have also been added to the AuctionRover meta search engine.
Currently running approx 354 auctions approx 28 have one or more bids.

AuctionWatch has updated the look and function of their site.
It looks very good, is well organized and it is much easier to
find the various features on the site from the tabs and tool bars
at the top and bottom of pages. It is a little slow to download,
but that might just be due to newness.

to approx 1400. The newsletter has a new editor, and has info about
the new OAUA webring. There are articles on spotting trends, and
