eBay appeared to have intermittent slowdowns on the 4th and 5th,
though they did not report any on their announcement board. Several
comments about slowdowns were made on the OAI chat boards
from about 1045 PM PT on the 4th until about 0800 AM PT on the 5th.
If you feel your auctions were effected by slowdowns, we recommend

eBay has a new Sci-Fi chat board and have added to their O Rama
series with a Sci Fi O Rama link.

eBay is holding a course on eBay at the WonderCon comics convention
in the Oakland Convention Center called eBay 101: How to Buy and
Sell Practically Anything, on Fri, 7 Apr 6:00 pm in room 208 2nd
floor. This will be geared toward the comics community. There
is a fee for admission for WonderCon but the eBay 101 course is free.

eBay has added pagination to the feedback left page. Now all they
have to do is add a sort by type feature, and we feel the eBay
feedback system will finally catch up with the other Online Auction
Houses (OAH) like Gold's.

their referral program. The credit may be used for listing fees,
enhancement fees, and final auction value fees only. It can not
be used to pay for successful high bids. The credit issued to
members is non-transferable, and non-refundable.

Internet Auction Secrets (IAS) April issue is now available. It has
13 pages of information in PDF format, including top ten tips, info
on valuing an item and ways to sell other than online auctions.
There is an infomercial from AuctionRover about their 2 April seller
appreciation day that seems out of place, and an article about Manage
Auctions about the kinds of information they offer when you use their
counters. There are also some seller opinions about what to do when
you have an unhappy buyer. This is not the most stellar issue to
date, but most OAI participants will find useful information, well
presented in IAS. Available by paid subscription.
