Gold's Auction beginning 1Apr through 15Apr, will credit sellers'
accounts for basic listing fees. Additionally, they will credit
final auction value fees for auctions ending during this same time.
Later this coming week, they will implement a referral bonus
program for members.

Andale's response to the email we sent them regarding the
premature ending of their $5.00 promotion, enumerated the
alleged fake ads that flooded the auction sites as a result
of their offer. They said that eligible members of the
promotion WILL receive payment for their ads created in
Andale before 1pm PT March 29, 2000, and both delayed and
live ads will earn the promotion payment. TAG still feels
that this was a misstep by Andale, and will damage their
relationship with customers who were punished for the actions
of a small minority. A quick search of eBay, turns up
approx 2000 auctions, many of them illegal auctions, but only
being perpetrated by 2 or 3 sellers who appear to be
violating the rules.

Andale has several specials for new registrants to their site.
They are offering a free two week trial to list auctions using
their site, 3 months of eBay magazine, and new users who create
and close a listing before they receive their first bill will
receive 2,500 Andal€ é Award points. Andale will put these points
on the first bill, and they can be redeemed for $25 worth of
savings on auction market listing fees or Andal€ é transaction
