eBay continues to have difficulties with Mister Lister, the bulk
upload utility. This is at its worst during the prime hours of
16:00 and 21:00 PT, and eBay strongly recommends you upload your
auctions during off peak hours. The auctions can then be approved
at any time during the following two weeks.

Later this week, eBay is launching a bidding tutorial to help new
users learn how to bid on an item at eBay. This interactive tutorial
familiarizes users with the bidding process, how to learn about a
seller's reputation, where to find payment terms, etc. To access
click on the Show Me button with the question mark at the top right
of any Item page. This tutorial can be used with Netscape Navigator
or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 Web browsers and above. It is not
available for Macintosh, AOL browsers, or Web TV.

Amazon Auctions After a discussion with the PTBs at Amazon
today, they have decided that ANY auction a seller has listed that
includes the Amazon Payment option One Click system, will have
No Final Value Fees through Dec 2000. It does not matter if the buyer
chooses to use One click or not, or what method the buyer uses to pay,
the Seller will NOT be charged a final value fee. The oneclick
charges for each item sold are 2.5% plus 25 cents, AND increases the
insurance coverage on the item from $250. to $1,000, these fees only
apply if the buyer uses oneclick.
