eBay is streamlining the bidding process in the following ways:
1. The Item page will have a simpler bid box. The way you enter a bid
remains the same, but the look of the bid box and bidding pages will
have less text and clutter.
2. If outbid, you can now re-bid directly on the You Have Been
Outbid page without having to hit the back button or another link.
3. Buyers will be able to bid more quickly and sellers might receive
more bids
In an effort to stimulate eBay magazine sales, Krause Magazines is
offering a limited edition eBay bear to the first 5,000 subscribers.
The bear is sent on receipt of payment, and is available to U.S.
addresses only. Krause sells the magazine on eBay under the user id
emagazine, and with a feedback rating of 50 with 181 neutrals which
are predominantly negative, we would recommend you proceed with

the Auctions.com Network sites beginning 1Apr2000. The listing fee
for the second category will be reduced from 25 cents to 10 cents.

Golds Auction has a new listing incentive program as follows:
For every 50 new listings posted, seller will receive a $10.00
credit to their account. A new listing is any listing that is charged
to your account upon posting. Example: Seller posting 100 new
listings will get a $20.00 credit, etc. There is no limit to the
credit amount members are eligible to receive. This promotion will
run until Midnight 31Mar 2000 ET.
Programming is working on a new site more user friendly design.
This includes a fix to the MyPage, new features and adding a session
ID for the entire site.
Gold's is currently running ads in Collector's News and Antique Week.
Additionally, banners are running at www.pinkonline.com and through
LinkExchange.com. They are waiting on confirmation of the exact dates
Gold's ads will run in other publications. They will let the
community know so they can be on the look out for the new ads. They
are working on getting Gold's Auction Listings to appear in
AuctionWatch.Com's universal search, and were unaware their members'
listings were no longer showing up. They apologize for the problem
and hope to get it fixed soon. Gold's Auction Listings appear on
