eBay has a new payment coupon for paying eBay fees by check or
money order. If you are currently billed in US dollars the address
has changed to a Denver mailing address, this will appear on your
payment coupon. Payment coupons are customized to each eBay
account, including the proper payment mailing address. Discard
old payment coupons with the Dallas address. The Denver address
change does not affect members billed in AU dollars or pound sterling.
Members billed in AU dollars or pound sterling should continue to
send payments to the Melbourne or London address on your payment
coupon. Members billed in US dollars:

eBay is changing the plan to convert the search result pages to U.S.
currency items only, and will show non-U.S. currency items listed
in countries outside the United States. These items will appear on
the Search Results pages if the seller is willing to ship to the
United States. eBay will implement this change in late March.

In an effort to improve its help support, eBay is making changes.
1. They will add commonly asked questions to the bottom of several
main pages such as Bidding, Item, Search Results. For example, there
will be questions related to selling at the bottom of the Sell Your
Item page. If you can't find what you are looking for, click on the
Contact Support link for more information or a personal response.
2. When you click on Contact Support, you will find Instant Help.
Choose a topic and the question that best relates to you, and the
search engine will find the answer. If Instant Help doesn't answer
the question, click the link at the bottom of the page to send an
email and get a personal response from Customer Support.
3. A new Billing page will be added to answer commonly asked
questions about credit cards, payment schedules, etc.
4. The Basics page in Help will feature top questions and answers
relating to major areas such as Bidding, Selling, Registration, etc.
This Basics page will replace the old Overview page.
You can preview these changes at:

eBay has finally implemented the Verified User program. Currently,
eBay requires a credit card on file before performing certain
functions, including selling your first item, registering with an
anonymous email service and bidding in Great Collections. ID Verify
is an alternative for anyone who either doesn't have a credit card
or doesn't want to place one on file, and is provided by Equifax
Secure, Inc. Your personal information is cross-checked against
consumer and business databases for consistency. You will also be
asked questions that only you should know the answers to. When you
are successfully verified, you will receive an ID Verify icon in your
Feedback Profile. eBay insists that the information you provide
during the ID Verify process will only be used for verification
purposes. There is a two-step process. First, you fill out a
questionnaire with your name, address, driver's license information,
date of birth, Social Security Number (which is optional) and other
information that helps to identify you. Second, you are asked
questions based on information contained in your consumer report,
obtained from Equifax Credit Information Services,Inc. You are asked
to identify certain installment and credit accounts, and their
associated monthly payments. This personal credit information
should be known to you and generally not others, so the accuracy of
your responses should verify your identity. There is an annual $5
processing charge for the ID Verify program and is only available
members resident in the United States. Another credit card
alternative is a debit card with the Visa or Mastercard logo. For
more info on ID Verify and/or to go through the process go to:
