eBay has launched a new co-branded site with AutoTrade.Com,
www.ebay-autotrader.com, that will connect eBay with
AutoTrader.com's 40,000 participating auto dealers and 250,000
private sellers. We wonder that this does not directly conflict with
eBay owned Kruse CarsOnline, unless they felt Kruse would be the
higher end collector type car, and AutoTrade the more average car.
The feedback forum again experienced glitches and slowness. This
started at approximately 16:00 PT 7 Mar, and has yet to be resolved.
There have also been reports of general slowness of eBay all day
We sent eBay an email trying to get a status update on the verified
user program, and received back QUOTE - Thank you for using
eBay! There is not currently any new information on this issue.
-ENDQUOTE, along with a suggestion to watch the announcement
board for the latest status.

eppraisals.com is a new online item valuation service. At $20.an
item, we think this is a bit overpriced, as we also felt with
AuctionWatch's (AW) valuation service (also $20.00). There is a
three day turnaround on this service, also similar to AWs. This
service does have a few advantages over the AW service, that would
lead us to favor eppraisals.
1. The IRS honors eppraisals on objects worth less than $5,000. For
objects of greater value, you need a more extensive evaluation.
They are also planning on offering that level of service soon. (though
probably at a considerably higher price)
2. They have an Auction It feature to automatically display your
eppraisal certificate with your online auction on eBay, Amazon or
Yahoo, and possibly a few other sites. They also have a partnership
with Andale, so can be used in conjunction with that service.
3. They have a fairly extensive evaluation team, with credentials
and information about the evaluators posted on the site. They can
cover approximately 285 categories of art, antiques, and
collectibles. http://www2.eppraisals.com/users/7about/a_about.jsp
In addition they are working on free pic hosting, and are currently
offering a free eppraisel special. Use this pass code for one free
eppraisal before March 31. Type in the code instead of paying with
a credit card. No strings attached. C1485H4AB
