eBay has the new listing form available at
http://pages.ebay.com/sell/index.html
The current Sell Your Item form is still available at
http://cgi5.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ListItemForSaleShow

As part of this revamp, they have added a separate section for escrow
on the listing form and the seller can choose between: a. I will
accept escrow, buyer pays, b. I will accept and pay for escrow,
c. I will not accept escrow. The default is option c. If the seller
will not accept escrow, there will be no mention of escrow on the
bidding page. For more information and to preview these changes, go
to http://pages.ebay.com/syipreview/index.html
This change will effect listing programs and online tools, which
will need to be retooled in order to function properly.

The new advertising on the listing page policy went into effect
today. This is sure to cause some confusion, and different
interpretations by eBay staff. One work around would be to host
your description blocks on your own web site merely putting a photo
and a link to your web page in the eBay listing description block.
The only things you can't have on that web page on your site, would
be a link to another auction house, or identical items being sold for
less than on eBay. Here is another hosting opportunity for sites
like Andale, AuctionRover and others, just remember you heard it here
first! For the new ad policy information

And the FAQ http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/png-adsfaq.html

eBay suffered intermittent availability problems and reported them
solved at 05:17 PT on 1 Mar, but intermittent problems were talked
about on the OAI chat boards till around 08:00 PT.

Today eBay did a partial launch of their Billpoint online payments.
They are implementing it in stages. Over the next few weeks, eBay
will invite select groups of eBay sellers to sign up for Billpoint.
At the end of this period, all eBay US sellers will be able to apply
for the service. On auctions where Billpoint is a payment option,
transactions can be completed from the item page, and tracked from My
eBay. International buyers can use Billpoint though there are
exceptions. Information can be found at
http://www.billpoint.com/services/international.html
eBays Billpoint has formed a strategic alliance with Wells Fargo.
Billpoint transactions are backed by the Wells Fargo online bank
From the press release - Wells Fargo acquired a 35% equity interest
in Billpoint from eBay pending Federal Reserve approval. Wells Fargo
also entered into a long-term payment processing and customer care
contract with Billpoint. eBay is currently claiming 10 million users
and 24/7 service. http://www.billpoint.com/about_bp/news-wells.html
eBay is offering improved pricing packages for eBay sellers,
especially for lower-priced items. They are also offering free
Visa transactions. When your winning bidder pays for an item with
a Visa card using Billpoint, eBay will waive all Billpoint fees for
that transaction. This offer is available until May 31. For details,

eBay currently has a policy that prohibits the inappropriate use of
brand names, and key word spamming. To clarify and elaborate the
policy on using these prohibited practices, eBay has updated their
policy, which states that excessive use of key words, including (but
not limited to)brand names, which are referenced for the purpose of
attracting or diverting bidders to a listing will be considered key
word spamming and is not permitted. For details of the policy
