PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH THE CHANGES TO ONELIST THIS
ISSUE DID NOT POST WHEN SENT LAST NIGHT. WE ARE SORRY FOR THE DELAY
The merger between ONEList and eGROUPS has started to show in tangible
ways. If you visit the site, the whole look is different, though the
functionality is about the same. The archives are temporarily
unavailable, and we have not been told when they will reappear.
TAGnotes OAI Chat now has an IM like chat board for group or private
messaging. More changes are sure to follow, but will hopefully be
transparent to our subscribers. We are told that the email addresses
will change in 60 days, but the current ones will remain valid
indefinitely. The Online Auction Industry links to Auction Houses and
Auction Service Providers are on   http://www.auctionguild.com

Amazon Auctions is now waiving ALL Final Value Fees through
Dec 2000 for all sellers using the one click payment system. They
will ONLY charge the 2.5% plus 25 cent one click fee. This a very
inexpensive way for sellers to accept credit cards, which combined
with 10 cent listing fees make Amazon a very attractive site for
sellers. http://s1.amazon.com/exec/varzea/ts/help/fees-auctions/

The Auction Patrol site has been having many problems over the past
few weeks. The site has been completely down for extended periods
of time in unannounced maintenance outages. A complete change of
moderators has taken place, and also reports of a new partner, adding
AuctionTribune to the site, allegedly purchased for $49,000. This is
still unconfirmed rumor, and all our emails to confirm the facts have
gone unanswered.http://www.auctionpatrol.com/index.shtml
