The Auction Guild (TAG) Respects Your Right To Privacy

Your Privacy is very important to us. The Auction Guild (TAG) actively promotes a safe and secure environment in which to conduct Internet business. Basically, we will not sell, lease or distribute your personal information to anyone, for any reason other than required by law. If you submit information to us and request we keep our source anonymous we will do so.

We may change or update this policy as necessary to inform you of any changes or updates in the way we handle or store your information. Notification of changes to this policy will be posted on our site for public view, and considered effective 30 days from the date notification is posted.

This policy was last updated on 1 Jan 2014 and considered effective as of 1 Jan 2014. It remains current. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you may request to cancel your registration with TAG by contacting us at tag@theauctionguild.com. Please put 'deregister' in the subject line.

1.Our Collection of Your Information
The following explains what type of personally identifiable information we collect about you, and when such information is collected.

In order to use the services we provide at TAG, you must complete and submit our Registration form. On our registration form, you are required to provide us with true and correct information about yourself, such as your name, and a verifiable email address. You may provide us with other information if you desire, but it is not currently required. We will guard ALL information you provide us with.

2. Collection of Your Information by Third Parties
Should you choose to disclose any part of your information to third parties either within or outside the scope of our system, you may be subjected to different rules regarding their use of, or disclosure of your personal information.

Our policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. To the extent that you disclose your information to other parties, on our system or other sites throughout the Internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the personal information you disclose to them. To the degree that we use third party advertisers, those parties sustain their own privacy policies and practices. Since TAG does not control the privacy policies of third parties, you are subject to the privacy policies and practices of such third party. You should always ask questions before choosing to reveal any part of your personal information to other parties, whether individual, company, or group.

3. How we use Your Information
The following describes how we use the personally identifiable information that we collect from you.

Communications -we may use any or several portions of your information to contact you via email, mail, or telephone in respect to matters involving your use and activity of the site such as input to our boards.

Automated Email - the email address you supply is used by our system to send automated email messages which are generated from the use of the site. These include registration confirmation, suspension notices, and newsletters.

Your email address and IP address are used to track your current and previous activity on the site as well as assist us in resolving any problems you may be having within the site, or to aid us in enforcing our User Agreement.

4. How we Disclose Your Information
At no time do we sell, rent, or lease to any third party, your personally identifiable information.

Because of potential circumstances outside of our control, we are unable to guarantee, or make promise that your information will remain private. We do however use industry standard measures to help safeguard your information and privacy.

We may disclose information about you to any government, or law enforcement agency as it is requested, and therefore we may be obligated to do so.

5. How you may use Other Users Information
Our system allows registered users to access certain information about other registered users on the site. The following outlines how you may or may not use information about other registered users that is available to you on our site.

Your use of and rights to use this information is limited to the guidelines stated herein, and anywhere within this entire Privacy Policy.

Any personally identifiable information which you obtain about another registered user, either by request, or as the result of a TAG related transaction or communication, is to be used solely for purposes directly related to your use or the other parties use of the TAG's web site and our services.

The following actions regarding your use or distribution of another users personally identifiable information are prohibited.

Sending unsolicited commercial email to another registered user.(Spam)

Selling, renting, or distributing a users email address, or any part of their personally identifiable information.

Posting personally identifiable information about another user in any public message board or forum, without their express permission.

Adding another users email or physical address to your database or address list without that users express permission to do so. If you have received such permission from a user, you must present them with the option to be removed from such database or list.

Abuse of your ability to access personally identifiable information about other users, may result in the termination of your registration .

7. Making Changes to Your Personal Information on File
You may make changes to or edit your personally identifiable information, which you have provided by completing the registration process. Your changes must contain information that is true and correct.

You may change or edit the following portions of your personally identifiable information on file with us.

Your email address
You may change your e-mail
Your personal contact information
You may change or update your name, address information, country, contact phone number, fax number and other information about you.

8. Site Security
TAG uses industry standard technologies to protect the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, such as data encryption, Secure Socket Layers(SSL) and firewalls. Because 100 percent guaranteed security is not achievable via the Internet, you should not expect that your information might not be disclosed to outside parties.

9. In General
This Privacy Policy has been incorporated into and is by all means subject to all terms and conditions of the TAG User Agreement.

10. Eligibility / Registration
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age, and be able to form or enter into, a legally binding contract in accordance with all applicable laws. If you are a minor, please do not attempt to use our services. If you are eligible to use our services, you must complete the Registration process by providing TAG with true and correct information as required on the TAG registration form.
